SYMANTEC
This was our second year working with Exposure on this stand for Symantec at the Infosec show in Earls Court. Our client wanted to repurpose the existing stand to house new technology including several new and exiting experiential features. Working with the creative team from exposure we re-jigged existing elements and built several new ones including a circular gaming arena for an interactive competition.
01
Phase one
We used our clients 3d model to produce working drawings for production, this enabled us to confirm exact dimension for all components and make tweaks where necessary. This allowed our client to focus on creativity without getting bogged down in production minutia. This was also useful reference for us and our client when we were producing the stand graphics, enabling us to check dimensions and positions.
02
phase two
Once the stand revisions were signed off we got straight into production. When we were 60% complete we invited our client down to our factory for a preview test build, at this stage we are sable to make alterations without impacting cost or our production schedule. Once the client has had a complete walk through and a thorough stand briefing all outstanding details were signed off and the set was completed before going on site.
03
phase three
With our production schedule agreed and all structural information submitted we briefed our crew and began building on site at 7.00am, by the end of day 1 we were 90% complete. We left some panels off to allow access to cabling for screens and technology. Carpet was laid first thing on day 2 when all power had been checked to avoid lifting any flooring.
